I just got back to Japan and woke up at around 4am to see on X that Charlie Kirk had been shot. The information was coming out hard and fast and it was surreal. Then I saw the videos. Unfortunately I've seen a lot of people shot on video. That tensing up and freezing usually means they are gone. So when I saw that and the amount of blood I knew he wasn't going to make it. Even so I said a prayer right away, but God had other plans for Charlie and all of us.

I wanted to post about silver coins I found or being back in Japan or 9/11, but man, this one hits hard. Charlie was a giant. He was spreading the word of Christ to millions of young people while red pilling them at the same time. That's why they killed him. He had immense influence over young people and he was an easy target since he did these open college debates.

He was just here in Japan last week and now he's gone. RIP brother, we'll carry on for you.

I don't believe in God (but respect and value Christianity as a religion), and I support abortions to be legal, but I say Charlie Kirk was brilliant. So sharp-thinking, amazing debater, active, flourishing person. I was just emotionally struck by this news and video. I think he was one of the rare public figures who was able to connect people and build society, whereas most politicians are just bureaucrats.

I have a feeling that he was shot because of how good he was and who he could become in the future. There is something especially cynical in it, as if it were more than a murder.

RIP Charlie Kirk.

Thanks @x-rain. He was a giant at 31 and built a very large organization focused on the youth. There isn't anyone like him and that's why he was taken out. Dark days ahead.
