How's the Ukraine War Going to End?
I asked Gemini the other day how was the Ukraine war going to end? It came back with a number of scenarios – but the one missing was a Russian victory. On further questioning it stated it was highly unlikely and listed all the reasons for this. Now I’m not saying this to show how AI can be biased but a reflection of Western thinking.
Trump promised to end this war on day one. So much for that boasting. The reality is very different because in truth the West are looking down the barrel of defeat. Every day on YouTube you can watch channels like Military Summary or Weeb Union, for example, to give pretty accurate daily reports from the frontline.
You can follow Telegram channels reporting directly from the frontline as well as there are some intrepid reporters telling it like it is in this dangerous place.
Ditching bullshit propaganda frees you to observe the progress Russian troops are making on the frontline every singe day.
Now we know Trump has called Putin, but Putin has no reason to negotiate at this point. If anything rather than the war ending it is escalating.
Now Trump has indicated he will resort to the so far failed methods of further sanctions. Further Trump took to Truth Social to say he loves the Russian people but threatening that damaging Moscow may be the only way to bring about peace.
I’m going to do Russia, whose Economy is failing, and President Putin, a very big FAVOR. Settle now, and STOP this ridiculous War! IT’S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE
If we don’t make a ‘deal,’ and soon, I have no other choice but to put high levels of Taxes, Taris, and Sanctions on anything being sold by Russia to the United States, and various other participating countries. Let’s get this war, which never would have started if I were President, over with! We can do it the easy way, or the hard way—and the easy way is always better. It’s time to ‘MAKE A DEAL.’ NO MORE LIVES SHOULD BE LOST!!!
Talk about delusional. Is Trump getting his info from the same place my AI is?
Putin told Russian state TV;
We are always open to this and ready for negotiations. It would be better for us to meet, based on the realities of today, to talk calmly about all areas that are of interest to both the U.S. and Russia
The Guardian noted that Putin said he relationship with Trump is “businesslike, pragmatic and trustworthy.”
As more atrocities are coming to light in Kursk, of bodies found tortured, abused and executed, Russian’s will dig deep into their reserves to keep this fight going despite increased bombing.
The salient point is that this war will be won on the battlefield. Putin will continue until Kiev agrees to a ceasefire. That Russia will also hold onto both Crimea and the parts already in Russian occupation since the “special operation” began.
In a sign that Zelelnsky’s days may be numbered, Trump said Zelensky is “no angel”. Further he has announced no more foreign aid for 90 days (except to Israel and Egypt).
We must remember Russia’s stated aims in this conflict. RT says that
Russia has insisted that the hostilities will only end when Ukraine commits to permanent neutrality, demilitarization, and denazification, stressing that Kiev must recognize the territorial ‘realities on the ground,’ and “that any deal must include ‘reliable, legally binding agreements eliminating the root causes of the conflict.’
Currently the West are busy coming up with peace plans that they can agree to – in sone misapprehension that they can dictate terms to Russia. It is hard to see Putin agreeing to any deal promising Ukraine NATO membership or the rump of Ukraine becoming a “demilitarised” zone – upkept by European soldiers presumably.
Whilst Russia are decisively winning on the battlefield, Ukraine are running desperately short of manpower all point to a Russia victory here. The only difficulty is that the US Empire has a hard time tolerating losing.
Still you'd think there'd be used to by it now. The US did win WW2 of course and liberate Auschwitz - no hang on a minute wasn't that the Red Army?
