Sorting the Rot: Trump, MAGA, and the Human Ecosystem
Like Sylar from Heroes absorbing peoples powers around him, Trump learned from people like Roy Cohn, men who built their influence through manipulation, intimidation, and the dark art of leverage. Then came Epstein, another figure in Trump’s orbit whose world was built on exploitation and secrets. Trump has always operated in the shadows of those influences, and whether people admit it or not, the pattern has been obvious from the start.
What we’re seeing now is a separation, a sorting. There are those who can see Trump clearly, who see how all the pieces line up. And then there are those who don’t care about those pieces at all, because his chaos gives them permission to ignore or justify their own. Under a leader who sets the bar so low, their worst impulses feel protected. If the president can behave like this, then their own actions don’t feel so bad.
To me, MAGA represents the “waste system” of humanity the part that metabolizes fear, anger, bias, and power hunger. The sewage of society. And maybe that’s its role. Every ecosystem has organisms that break things down so something new and healthier can grow. The ugliness exposes itself so clearly that the rest of us can see what we are not and choose to rise beyond it.
So the question becomes:
Are you someone who flushes out the waste, clears the toxicity, and uses the breakdown to fertilize something better? Or are you a carrier of the waste? Or are you the waste itself?
Either way, it’s all part of a cycle. Trump and his movement are the byproduct of decades of dysfunction we all, in some way, contributed to. Now it’s time to plant new seeds, work new soil, and use all this exposed rot to grow something stronger. There’s plenty of this shit around. And it stinks, so it’s easy to find.
