RE: Careful now... Amazon may be listening...!

In some ways I like the idea of a digital PA who can help me remember stuff and make suggestions, but do I trust any company not to abuse that access? I am not a big Amazon fan due to their tax avoidance, but then I have a Ring alarm system. We keep hearing that everyone is after our data, but what will they actually do with it? It used to be able targeted ads, but now it seems they just want to train their 'AI' systems. Is this where we want to go?
