After they privatized the prison food system, there really isn't anything you can call being fed in prison, just enough substance to keep them alive. My other brother, not the one mentioned below, who was a lifer of what was back then 20 years, which got changed, they didn't grandfather him under the old law, became a lifer, who then because of a lawsuit, wasn't a lifer anymore, who still seems unable to get out from underneath being a lifer by the parole board, who is now, once again, because of another lawsuit they won, isn't suppose to be a lifer shortly, ...went and got cataracts removed from one eye, that turned out fine, it was the other eye they did, and from what he's experiencing, you can't call that close to being medical. Maybe back in the day life was good in prison, you'd have to be desperate beyond means to want to go to prison now a days.
