In today's world, where governments are actively overreaching and infringing on our individual liberties, many like myself are seeking ways to reclaim their natural born human rights. Being peacefully ungovernable means standing up for yourself without resorting to violence, but willing to defend yourself, family, and property if you need to. It's also about using alternative forms of money like cryptocurrencies, growing your own food, generating your own power, securing your own water, and refusing to pay taxes to governments you view as criminal organizations. This approach emphasizes self-sufficiency, freedom, and true independence. Fair warning, this may get long, there are a lot of things you can do to make yourself peacefully ungovernable.

Honestly, I can't think of a better subject after last night's presidential debates...

Embracing Cryptocurrencies

Traditional banking systems and government-issued currencies come with a load of restrictions and controls. Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin offer a decentralized alternative, giving you control over your finances without the need for banks or government oversight. By using cryptocurrencies, you can conduct transactions privately and securely, ensuring that your money remains yours. Embracing this form of currency is a crucial step in becoming peacefully ungovernable.

But cryptocurrencies and blockchain offer so much more. Like just look at the Hive blockchain where this is posted. Not only is there a financial piece to it, but you own and have full control over all of your content. You can post what you want and it cannot be taken down.

Not only using these networks will help make you ungovernable, but helping provide infrastructure to these networks is crucial to strengthen the decentralization of them. So find a network you love and figure out how you can contribute to make it more secure from government and corporate attacks.

Growing and Raising Your Own Food

One of the most empowering actions you can take is to grow and raise your own food. This not only ensures that you have access to fresh, healthy produce, but it also reduces your dependency on commercial food systems that are often controlled by large corporations and governments who really want to make you sick and kill you. Start a garden, raise some chickens, or even consider larger livestock like goats or cows if you have the space. By becoming self-sufficient in food production, you reclaim a vital aspect of your autonomy. This one of the main reasons I am now homesteading versus living the wild, nomadic van life.

The idea that anyone can grow food at home, even in something like an apartment, can really help show you the power of fresh food. This is why I am so laser focused on building my indoor hydroponic gardens that will make it easy for anyone to grow their own food at home.

Creating Your Own Power

Relying on centralized power grids ties you to government regulations and utility companies that can shut you off at any minute. By investing in renewable energy sources like solar panels and wind turbines, you can generate your own power. This makes you less dependent on external sources for your energy needs. With advances in technology, setting up a home renewable energy system is more feasible than ever. I lived my life fully on 12v power while living in the van, so it's possible. But of course a house has way bigger needs than a van, so you will need the space for the panels and turbines if you choose to go that direction.

Securing Your Water Supply

Water is a fundamental necessity to live, and securing your own supply is a critical aspect of being ungovernable. Catching rainwater and digging wells are excellent ways to ensure you have access to clean, uncontaminated water. These methods reduce your reliance on municipal water systems, which can be subject to government control and potential contamination. By managing your water resources, you gain greater control over this essential part of life.

Learning water filtration is extremely important, not just for a homestead but even on the go. Learn to build your own water filtration systems so you can rely on water from really any source. You do want to make sure the water you are consuming is clean and not going to make you sick. It's not incredibly difficult to set up a water filtration system.

In the car or in my everyday bag, I also carry something like a Life Straw. You never know what's going to happen as you are out and about and you may end up in a position where all you have to drink is some nasty puddle water. At least with a Life Straw, you will filter as you consume, so it will be clean when it hits your mouth. This can really ring true for anyone that lives in cities, because they will be the first to be shut down in case some 'emergency' breaks out.

Holistic Health Practices

Taking charge of your health through holistic practices reduces your reliance on the mainstream medical system. Practices such as herbal medicine, focusing on nutrition and exercise, and mental wellness can keep you healthy and lessen the need for conventional healthcare services that do nothing but keep you sick so that you become a life long customer. Being knowledgeable about first aid and natural remedies also empowers you to manage minor health issues independently.

This goes to the whole growing your own food part. You can also grow your own medicine. Heck you don't even have to grow it. Learn medicinal plants in your area and get out in nature and search for them. That alone can bring you a ton of mental peace.

DIY and Self-Reliance Skills

Learning do-it-yourself (DIY) skills and becoming proficient in various trades can greatly enhance your independence. Skills such as carpentry, plumbing, sewing, and basic mechanics allow you to maintain and repair your possessions without relying on external services. This not only saves money but also ensures you are not dependent on the broader economy for everyday necessities.

Learning to make your own stuff is also crucial. And no, I am not talking about going back to full pioneer stage. Technology is awesome and allows anyone to really create anything they want. This was the initial reason I dove into the deep end of the 3D printing pool. I make as much of my own stuff as possible, as long as it can be made from plastic... But getting the plastic is a whole other thing, which is why I buy as much as I can while I can, haha. I eventually want to get the equipment needed to make my own composites which would also help with recycling old stuff, making you more self-reliant.

Being Armed and Ready to Stand Your Ground

An important aspect of being peacefully ungovernable is the ability to protect yourself, your family, and your property. Being armed and prepared to stand your ground is not about seeking conflict, but about ensuring you have the means to defend your natural rights against any form of aggression, even the government. This approach emphasizes responsible gun ownership, self-defense training, and a clear understanding of your legal rights.

One thing you can do is to jump on the DIY train and learn how to make your own tools for protection. With 3D printers, it's becoming incredibly easy to create your own firearms or other means of self-defense that will keep you under the radar. The problem is, the governments know this and are actively trying to shut down the sharing of these files. So get yourself a hard drive and start downloading any and all gun part files you can, while you can. Store them offline so that you have full control over the files, and then of course dollar cost average into bullets, haha.

Refusing to Pay Taxes

And now for one of my favorite ungovernable topics... not paying taxes! Many like myself see taxation as a form of legalized theft, funding activities, countries, and organizations they do not support. Refusing to pay taxes is a bold step in being ungovernable. This requires careful consideration and awareness of the potential legal consequences that may arise, and they eventually may catch up to you. Some choose to minimize their tax burden through legal means such as reducing taxable income, while others may opt for more extreme measures. It's essential to research and understand the risks and strategies involved in this aspect of ungovernability.

It is our civic duty to stand up and cut off payments to the organizations that are trying to tighten their control over our civil liberties! This is why cryptocurrencies were invented in the first place and the use of decentralized exchanges and creating an alternative economy is so important! It's no different than boycotting a company that goes against your moral beliefs. No human being should ever have authority over another. We are all free sovereign beings and we need to start acting like it while treating everyone around us as we would want to be treated living by the non-aggression principle.

In an age of increasing surveillance on the entire world population, protecting your digital privacy is essential. Using encrypted communication tools, practicing good cybersecurity habits, and being extremely mindful of your online presence can help shield you from government and corporate intrusion. Digital privacy tools, such as VPNs and secure browsers, are valuable resources in maintaining your autonomy, but even they have their flaws. So the more anonymous you can stay online the better.

This doesn't just go for your online information, it goes for your transactions as well. Banks and governments can track every transaction you make, even with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin which is on a transparent blockchain. If your wallet address is ever tied to your real world ID, they've got you. This is where privacy focused cryptos like Monero come into play.

At base level, Monero is private by default and is extremely difficult to track or trace, but nothing is completely impossible. This is why supporting those type of networks with decentralized infrastructure is so important. Anyone can mine Monero on a regular computer instead of using huge, loud, and expensive ASIC machines, which makes it able to be more decentralized than any other crypto. Sorry, not trying to shill or anything, just making a point...

While the goal is to reduce dependence on government, understanding the legal and political landscape is crucial. Knowing your rights and the laws that affect you can help you navigate potential conflicts and avoid unnecessary entanglements with authorities. Staying informed about local and national legislation that impacts your lifestyle is an important aspect of peaceful ungovernability. Basically, it's good to know what your enemy is doing to try and keep you in line so you can do your best to subvert them.
