A Cabal of Midwits
Israel relies on evangelical Christians for support because they believe in dispensationalism, which links the modern state of Israel to the same Israel from the Bible, who were God’s chosen people, and therefore evangelical Christians have a duty to protect Israel. Israel (the modern state) pushed this theology of dispensationalism because it helped their political ends.
But Israel is now losing support from the US because Christianity is waning in America. This is due to many things: mass media changing the way people think, and mass immigration changing the literal people.
If the Jews control the media and Hollywood, they should have used it to uphold evangelical Christian culture. Instead, the media and Hollywood mocked and tore down Christianity to create a secular culture. Either Jews don't control the media, or they do and are short-sighted and dumb.
If Zionists control the US government, then they should have been anti-mass immigration in the US. All the wars the US gets into in the Middle East on behalf of Israel leads to Israel-hating Arab refugees coming to America. Don’t Zionists realize that by destroying the US, they are destroying the support Israel gets from the US?—which is essential for the state of Israel to exist.
It is undeniable that Zionists have massive influence on US policy, including the media and Hollywood. So what explains these discrepancies? Why do powerful Zionists do things that will clearly harm Israel in the long run?
I think it is because they are short-sighted and impulsive, doing things that seem to benefit themselves without considering the second, third, and Nth order effects.
Toppling the anti-Zionist regimes in Israel's neighboring countries seems to obviously help Israel—oh wait, now people from those countries are moving to America and hate us…
Tearing down Christian culture and making everything secular seems to be better for Jews—oh wait, we lost the unwavering support from the evangelicals...
