Political Pendulum Swing?
An important day for all of Europe...
Yes, today we are once again playing for the future of all. Traditional continuity or the commitment to change... today is election day in Germany and, in a certain way, Europe is playing for its destiny.
Europe is not at its best, and this is evident in the political tendencies that are rising and falling.
It is clear that the left or, better said, the centre left is losing ground against the right and extreme right.
Some call it the "political pendulum", sometimes you have to go to extremes to reverse the movement towards the centre but the centre is always unstable.
I do not lean towards any of these bureaucrats, however, I think that Europe needs a change now, especially at the energy level (please bring back nuclear power to Germany), at the economic policy level and, in general, at the regulatory level.

We cannot be the regulators of the world while we do not master any of the technologies that are being developed... it is urgent to give flexibility and room for development at the level of R&D. We are shooting ourselves in the foot if we continue like this.
Perhaps the rise of parties like AFD is worrying, especially at the level of immigration policy... however, there are other things that I align myself with more, such as the idea of capitalism as technology and not as the problem.
I do not share the idea that everything that is not left-wing is then Far Right... but it is clear that President Trump's statements together with Musk's eccentricities and some of Milei's mistakes are not helping to see it differently... although I do not consider them Far Right...
We have to go back a little to the center, the pendulum is asking for a change of direction and perhaps the right is the path of progress at this point.
Let's see what happens tonight, I think the European Union is playing its future today in Germany...
It will play a important part in the course of Europe path. Together with other governmental elections that will take place (Check Republic - September; Poland (President) - 18 May). The alternation between conservative and more left-wing parties is important, although I consider myself to be more of a center. What's happening now is that we always fall into extremism. And there are subjects that are considered taboo. In my country, for example, the issue of immigration is topical and should be discussed. It shouldn't be considered an issue that is only important to nationalist parties.
I agree, immigration is an issue to be tackle independently from the political side
Europe needs a change, right now it's just slowing collapsing... German election could bring a change but it's crystal clear that nothing will change after the vote, a big moderates coalition and everything will be as before, industrial crysis, inflation, terror attacks and so on
