RE: How Is It Politicians Always Become Wealthy?

Those are some frankly stunning figures! What is more amazing that the accumulation of that wealth flies mostly under the radar for the average joe in the street. Doesn't seem to matter what Country you look at either, apart from a few special cases it's always the same.

Human nature temptation is too much to resist, high up officials all day every day either being lobbied to or have sensitive information passed in front of them.. and that's the positive angle, where we aren't considering those members that are shaping policy to line their own pockets.

Better off not thinking about it, only makes a person sad! :)
