I grow more of my own food every year. This year for the first time I am giving melons a try. The greenhouse is coming together, and that will be revolutionary for me, I hope. Things I could not grow, or get much from, that need hot fall weather to put out lots of melons, tomatoes, pickles and etc., will produce much more, and things I have attempted but failed, like turmeric and ginger will top the list. If this succeeds well, I can add more greenhouse too. If I plan and execute it right, I can also create an arboretum between greenhouses then with a seasonal plastic cover to extend the season for peaches, figs, and the like.

When the food goes bad, the tough grow food.
