Gaza is not in Europe, and I find it difficult to state with certainty this thesis is superable. It does pass the smell test, however, as Hitler did foster relationships with Arab nations, and had he ruled Europe and been succeeded by party members, it's unlikely Israel would have the unfettered power and unlimited money they are availed today to slaughter their neighbors.
Overall, I consider the OP likely.
