RE: Why is rock still such an underrated music genre in today's society?

I’ve always enjoyed listening to rock, but never the heavy kind (where the lyrics become unintelligible).

The essence of rock is mistakenly associated with this sound, and many people still need to "demystify" this point of view.

Anyway, long live to rock!

Absolutely, massively underrated because of the association with lyrics that are non-hearable (is that even a word?). And then there are the few bangers. I remember when St. Anger was released. Strangely enough the song was on 2nd place on charts here in Denmark.. and everyone still claimed not listening to rock.
While I liked the fact it did so well, I found it strange that it was songs from that album that got so much attention

Well... I just think music audiences can be surprisingly understanding from time to time, haha!
