Didn't knew that those issues were also in Britain Military forces. In Portugal those structural problems have be being identified from a couple of years ago. I remember when I was in "the age" of being called to enter in the Military Service, back then, we already listen to some issues that were going, like underbudget structures, and military material with age related problems. Such a shame that only by now Europe and the world is looking for defense in a more serious way... Let's hope that this could be taken has a advantage by other world "players"

I much prefer peaceful solutions, however I guess with military now it's all cyber and drones anyway. What good are tanks, honestly?
They are part of a primary defense line. In the "modern war" we only see them entering in action when there are very serious trespassing and/or border surveillance. I think "we" have to rely on them, not as much has we have been in the past decades, you are right.
