The System of Government in Korea and How It Treats the People

I am not a political person honestly, but I always find Korea’s system of government very interesting. The way they run their country seem kind of organized and serious. From what I learn and see online, Korea use something called a democratic republic system. That means they have a president who is like the main leader, and also some people in charge in other parts of government, like the National Assembly.

To me, what make it nice is how much they respect the opinion of their citizens. I watched some news before, and I saw people protesting on the street, and nobody attack them or shoot them. They allow them to talk about what they don’t like, and that is something that shows freedom. In many other countries, you can’t even try to do that.
When I first read about Korea’s government, I was surprised that they hold election every five years, and the president can’t rule again after one term. That sound fair to me because it gives other people chance to lead too. I wish many countries in the world can do like that, it would help peace and development.

One thing I also notice is how the government really care about their citizens’ comfort. They invest a lot in technology, health care, and education.Though life there is not perfect there, and people still live good, and there I think there is hope for the young ones. You can tell that the leaders want their people to move forward, not backward.

I imagine one certain time that if I was born in Korea, maybe I would be proud of my country every day. They have good transport, clean cities, and good system of law. Of course, every country has problem, but I feel Korea try to solve theirs faster.

In my opinion, their government is like a father trying to take care of his family. Sometimes they make mistake, but you can still see the effort they put. That is something to respect.
