My 2025 elections Voting experience

Hello Hive friends! I hope you are well and happy!

The 2025 national and local elections happened yesterday, May 12, 2025 and It was one of the many wonderful days that happened in my life because I and my husband were together the whole day which doesn't usually happen due to work and other responsibilities

My husband and I decided not ro go to work, they are supposed to assist on the election hut he only wore uniform and showed up a bit, then we both went to each of our precincts and voted. I was discpuraged to know that we don't have the same room to vote but at least I got some time for myself and to take pictures of the flowers at the school

The election was a success, it was peaceful and everyone cooperated. The queueing is even fast and it didn't rake too long for me and to wait and get a slot to vote.

My voting was fast since I already had my list with me, after I submitted the balot to the teacher who was in charge, I checked the receipt if the entries were correct everything was good. Soon I went out and went to the room where my husband was but their queueing was very slow. Every minute got me hungrier so I entertained myself in taking pictures of thr flowers and luckily, I caught a bee on a yellow flower.

While taking pictures under the sun, I set the phone's brightness to maximum so the phone heated and warned and so I turned it off for a while. I got scared ot will burn but good thing it didn't. Soon my husband was finished voting and took me with him to the captain's house for lunch. We hurried to rake our food because my kids and family were waiting for us at home so we could go to the farm and spend thr day there.

The farm is my favorite olace to go, the air is cool and the mango teee guves us shadows for shelter. We stayed there until 5 pm and then went home.
