The decline of Germany
Dear Hiveans,
Today a short opinion piece on Germany. I emigrated from Germany in 2012 and this has been one of the best decisions of my life (after choosing my wife and buying Bitcoin in March of yyyy).
Germany is currently in a very bad shape, and the situation will probably get a lot worse.
- Electricity prices are rising, as well as waste charges, CO2 taxes, social security contributions, while salaries are stagnant (except for bureaucrats)
- German Fortune 500 companies have announced over 60,000 layoffs this year (source)
- Germans (rather well-educated and wealthy) are emigrating
- Immigration to Germany is quite high (source), unfortunately rather low-educated and concentrated on one ethnic group that increases ethnic tensions and violence (example 1, example 2).
- Germany's government collapsed towards the end of 2024 (probably a good thing...)

None of these bad developments should be surprising. Many people (scientists, economists, journalists, citizens, politicians) have warned for many years against bad policies. Most or all of these people have been denounced as far-right or nazi.
For the last 26 years Germany has been governed by highly corrupt people like Gerhard Schröder (bought by Putin and Gazprom), by a Germany-hating chancellorette (Merkel), and now by an outright clown (Olaf Scholz). All of these chancellors supported the energy transition and the incredibly stupid nuclear phaseout. Thus, Germany - a country with little sunshine and wind, no oil and a refusal to develop shale oil - is in a deep energy crisis and has one of the highest electricity prices in the world (source).

Heute ein kurzer Meinungspost zu Deutschland. Ich bin 2012 aus Deutschland ausgewandert und das war eine der besten Entscheidungen meines Lebens (nach der Wahl meiner Frau und dem Kauf von Bitcoin im März des Jahres yyyy).
Deutschland ist derzeit in einer sehr schlechten Verfassung, und die Situation wird sich wahrscheinlich noch viel weiter verschlechtern.
- Die Strompreise steigen, ebenso wie die Abfallgebühren, die CO2-Steuern und die Sozialversicherungsbeiträge, während die Gehälter stagnieren (außer für Bürokraten).
- Deutsche Fortune-500-Unternehmen haben für dieses Jahr über 60.000 Entlassungen angekündigt (Quelle)
- Deutsche (eher gut ausgebildete und wohlhabende) wandern aus
- Die Zuwanderung nach Deutschland ist recht hoch (Quelle), leider eher niedrig gebildet und auf eine ethnische Gruppe konzentriert, was ethnische Spannungen und Gewalt verstärkt (Beispiel 1, Beispiel 2).
- Die deutsche Regierung ist gegen Ende 2024 zusammengebrochen (wahrscheinlich eine gute Sache...)

Keine dieser Fehlentwicklungen sollte überraschend sein. Viele Menschen (Wissenschaftler, Ökonomen, Journalisten, Bürger, Politiker) haben seit vielen Jahren vor gewissen politischen Entscheidungen gewarnt. Die meisten oder alle diese Menschen wurden als rechtsextrem oder Nazi denunziert.
Deutschland wurde 26 Jahre lang von hochgradig korrupten Leuten wie Gerhard Schröder (gekauft von Putin und Gazprom), von einer deutschlandhassenden Kanzlerin (Merkel) und jetzt von einem Clown (Olaf Scholz) regiert. Alle diese Kanzler haben die Energiewende und den unglaublich dummen Atomausstieg unterstützt. So steckt Deutschland - ein Land mit wenig Sonne und Wind, ohne Öl und mit einer Weigerung, Shale Oil zu fördern - in einer tiefen Energiekrise und hat einen der höchsten Strompreise der Welt (Quelle).

Hoy un breve artículo de opinión sobre Alemania. Emigré de Alemania en 2012 y esta ha sido una de las mejores decisiones de mi vida (después de elegir a mi mujer y comprar Bitcoin en marzo de yyyy).
Alemania está actualmente en muy mala forma, y la situación probablemente empeorará mucho más.
- Los precios de la electricidad están subiendo, así como las tasas de residuos, los impuestos sobre el CO2, las contribuciones a la seguridad social, mientras que los salarios están estancados (excepto para los burócratas).
- Las empresas alemanas del Fortune 500 han anunciado más de 60.000 despidos este año (fuente)
- Los alemanes (más bien educados y ricos) están emigrando
- La inmigración a Alemania es bastante alta (fuente), por desgracia bastante poco educada y concentrada en un grupo étnico que aumenta las tensiones étnicas y la violencia (ejemplo 1, ejemplo 2).
- El gobierno alemán se derrumbó a finales de 2024 (probablemente algo bueno...)

Ninguno de estos malos acontecimientos debería sorprender. Muchas personas (científicos, economistas, periodistas, ciudadanos, políticos) han advertido durante muchos años contra las malas políticas. La mayoría o todas estas personas han sido denunciadas como de extrema derecha o nazis.

I think that especially the problems caused by immigrants from Türkiye and Syria in Germany and Europe have created a crisis in Europe!

Es läuft sicher viele nicht gut in Deutschland. Aber ob das wirklich alles durch die Politiker verursacht ist mag ich bezweifeln.
Die deutsche Vorzeige-Industrie Autobauer wird von Tesla und China links und rechts überholt. Warum? Weil man nur mit Schummelsoftware punkten wollte? Weil man durch Lobbyismus die Politik zu immer mehr Subventionen für veraltete Technik manipuliert hat?
Gasspeicher wurden für billiges Geld an Russland verkauft. Warum?
Erneuerbare Industrien wurden solange behindert, bis diese ihre Fertigung in Deutschland aufgegeben haben.
Deutschland als Exportnation ist natürlich auch abhängig vom Ausland und der Weltkonjunktur.
Maga / Trump ist ein großer Gegenspieler. China schwächelt als Absatzmarkt. VW hat dort sehr viel Geld verdient. Aktuell geht dort für VW sehr wenig, weil VW keine konkurrenzfähigen eAutos in China im Angebot hat.
Ist es wirklich immer nur die Politik? Was machen die Manager in den Chefetagen für ihre Millionengehälter?
Du leidest nicht unter deren Inkompetenz? Wirklich?
Klar, wenn du in der Schweiz lebst, juckt dich das nicht wirklich.
Aber als deutscher Bürger oder Arbeitnehmer eben schon.
Wenn diese Konzerne nichts verdienen, daher keine Steuern zahlen können/müssen, dann muß das Geld wo anders herkommen. Oder es fehlt schlicht für Investitionen in Infrastruktur, Schulen, Ausbildung...
Wenn sie Arbeitnehmer entlassen weil sie nicht konkurrenzfähig sind, dann belastet es den Staat und die Gesellschaft. Arbeitslose zahlen keine Steuern, beziehen Arbeitlosengeld, ...
Wenn sie nicht konkurrenzfähige Produkte herstellen, dann werden diese Produkte aus dem Ausland importiert. Der Gewinn fließt dann ins Ausland statt nach Deutschland.

Du zahlst nicht deren Gehalt? Nein, wenn du nur Produkte konsumierst, die im Ausland produziert werden, dann nicht. Wenn die aber aus Deutschland stammen, dann zahlst du auch deren Gehalt als Teil des Produktpreises.
Ich suche mir raus, wo ich arbeite. Wenn ich nicht bei VW arbeite, betrifft mich deren Versagen nicht.
Das Geld für Investitionen in Infrastruktur, Schulen, Ausbildung fehlt seit Jahrzehnten nicht. Es wird an allen Ecken und Enden Geld verschleudert (von Politikern) und an den falschen Ecken "gespart". Es werden Billionen (!) in verteuerbare Energien gepumpt, eine gigantische Korruption. Dieses Geld fehlt woanders, z.B. in Schulen, wo deutsche Schüler von Misere zu Misere tapsen (Pisa).
Wenn Unternehmen weniger Gewinne machen oder sogar Verluste machen, sollten sie zügig aus dem Verkehr gezogen werden, sodass die dort verschwendeten Ressourcen woanders zielführend und gewinnbringend eingesetzt werden. Aber Politiker versuchen in Deutschland seit Jahrzehnten, marktwirtschaftliche Prinzipien ausser Kraft zu setzen. Das geht nicht lange gut. Irgendwann kommt es dann zu einer tiefen Zäsur.
Ich kaufe Produkte, die ich gut finde und deren Preis ich ok finde. Wie dieses Geld im Unternehmen alloziert wird (Rohstoffeinkauf, Marketing, CEO-Gehalt), ist nicht meine Baustelle.

Die Frage, die sich mir stellt, ist: war Merkel eine CDU-Kanzlerin oder eine grüne, Putin hörige Kanzlerin?

Ja wir haben so viele Probleme in Deutschland. Ich denke es sind teils die Politiker, teils die Manager in den Chefetagen so wie du es sagst.

Es läuft nicht alles schlecht, aber vieles läuft in die falsche Richtung. Reale Wirtschaftsdaten zeigen nach unten, der DAX (noch) nach oben. Eines von beiden wird nachgeben und dem anderen folgen.
Hier der DAX mal relativ zum S&P500 über die letzten 10 Jahre: leider eine satte Unterperformance. Wenn der DAX mit dem S&P500 Schritt gehalten hätte, wäre er 56% höher. Und was passiert, wenn der mit Abstand grösste Konsummarkt der Welt (USA) in die Rezession rutscht?
Die haben doch Trump, der wird das schon verhindern. MAGA. 😀

I can tell you I'm more into gnosis - making experiences and learning knowledge gnosis from alive life "itself" directly by the individual himself -

So it probably is more like a feeling. And I'm unsure if pure knowledge (not depending on situation, context, perspective,...) can even be formulated.. brought into some external human form.
I also think we are in an alive dream and everyone is part of creating it. So there will also always be new "prophets" and discoveries and no closed story.
Even if people try to force, trigger, provocate self fulfilling prophecy.

Und solange ihr euch noch weitere Jahrzehnte im selben Wahnsinn dreht wird sich da auch nicht viel ändern.
Selbst wenn ihr alle Grünen aus dem Land schmeißt und richtig hart mit AfD durchgreift.
Es bleibt Etatismus und Sozialismus. Diesmal dann halt für eure Ziele und Gruppen.
