The Pentagon has published a new US National Defense Strategy for 2026, and Europe is essentially no longer a priority…

Main points:

▶ Responsibility for resolving the situation in Ukraine largely lies with Europe;
▶ Russia is called a “constant threat” to NATO’s eastern flank;
▶ Greenland is recognized as a key strategic territory;
▶ Iran may attempt to obtain nuclear weapons, including by refusing constructive negotiations;
▶ North Korea’s nuclear forces are “increasingly capable of threatening US territory”;
▶ The US priorities will be to contain China and protect its own territory, not Europe;
▶ The priority of the new strategy is to protect US interests in the Western Hemisphere;
▶ South Korea, US allies in Europe and the Middle East should ensure their own defense independently;
▶ The US will focus on its own security and the Indo-Pacific region

Главне тачке:

▶ Одговорност за решавање ситуације у Украјини у великој мери лежи на Европи;
▶ Русија се назива „константном претњом“ источном крилу НАТО-а;
▶ Гренланд је препознат као кључна стратешка територија;
▶ Иран би могао покушати да добије нуклеарно оружје, укључујући одбијање конструктивних преговора;
▶ Нуклеарне снаге Северне Кореје су „све способније да угрозе територију САД“;
▶ Приоритети САД биће обуздавање Кине и заштита сопствене територије, а не Европе;
▶ Приоритет нове стратегије је заштита интереса САД на западној хемисфери;
▶ Јужна Кореја, савезници САД у Европи и на Блиском истоку требало би да самостално обезбеде сопствену одбрану;

The Department of War makes it clear in this twenty-some-page document, despite many euphemisms, that it will not give up on the Pax Americana project, it’s only that there will be no more twisting around thin and unconvincing propaganda wafers – it will simply be implemented by brute force wherever it finds a ‘national interest’.

Whoever does not want to submit will have to prepare for war…

Министарство рата јасно ставља до знања у овом двадесетак страница дугом документу, уз пуно еуфемизама, да неће одустати од пројекта Pax Americana, само што више неће бити увијања у танушне и неуверљиве пропагандне обланде – једноставно, спроводиће га грубом силом свуда где пронађе ‘национални интерес’.
