As you can see, there is nothing wrong about informing of publications of a certain author to his fans and readers who follow his work. There is no substitution to that by "original content", because you know, a much of mankind's culture is sharing and discussing content made by great authors. Discovering and appreciating content that informs about something important, as well as inspires thinking and promotes discussion is a something to appreciate rather than discourage.
