Healthcare Not Warfare

As The War Nobody Asked For rages on, so too does Louisville's Bridge Brigade.

There's billions of reasons why, but yesterday's pop-up protest on the Seneca Park bridges over I-64 was about the fact that this country seemingly can't afford to pay for healthcare but yet somehow can afford to spend billions a day bombing a country half a world away.

Second verse, more expensive than the first. Uncle Sam's kill brown people habit averaged out to about 300 million dollars per day over the twenty year span of the 'War on Terror,' but the addiction seems to have spiraled badly in recent days.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that in just three days of fighting more than 800 Patriot surface-to-air (air defense) missiles had been fired in The War Nobody Asked For, more than his country had received throughout years of war. Back of the envelope math, that comes out to something in the ballpark of 3.5 billion USD fired off in 72 hours, and that's just one type of air defense missile. THAAD was fired as well, with a unit cost of ~ 12 million per missile, but reliable info on rounds expended is hard to come by currently.

When you add in all the offensive weapons like the Tomahawk missiles that demolished the girls school, it adds up to the most expensive Epstein distraction ever. $11.4 billion for the first week, according to what the Pentagon reportedly told Congress.

Curious how there's never enough money to go around when it comes to food or housing assistance, much less healthcare, but no expense is too great when it comes to killing.

All while masked gun thugs continue to rampage through our communities.

ICE is escalating its war on the community here, with the word on the street being that we are going to get hit with a surge in May, just in time for primary elections and the Kentucky Derby.

Until all that stops and there's more healthcare to go around than warfare, the Bridge Brigade will likely continue its campaign as well.
