grifters keep losing their souls in the name of a paycheck.
No matter how long this goes on, or where it spreads, a lot of people are going to make money. A lot of people are going to die (are now dying). I'm not clever. I can see some of the beneficiaries of this war, but there is such a level of muck hidden from view that I can't possibly know them all. One thing for sure. We are getting burned and other people are getting exactly what they want. U. S. security be damned, because this is certainly not good for U.S. security. Risks to our security come from other places in the world.
Hard to think of anything else, but we have to, don't we? Basically, we have no control over, not even an effect on, the course of events.
I can't help but feel this is a distraction from the faltering economy and unfolding Epstein scandal.
Tail wagging the dog? Yea, I thought about that. But there is more going on. Kushner's involvement is interesting. He has a strong relationship with Netanyahu. Both Kushner and Trump have their eyes on Gaza as a beachfront resort (I know, I know, please don't roll your eyes). With Iran out of the way, with the rest of the Middle Eastern countries cowed, does this open the path? Think of what Huckabee just said. It's all too complicated for me, but these are greedy, scheming, ruthless (madmen, I think). Trump hasn't got that long to achieve his goals. Midterms don't look good. Do this while Netanyahu is still in power, while Trump is still strong? I don't know. Just an idea. But Kushner over there negotiating with Iran...And who knows what side deals they have with China and Russia to stand down while we are distracted.
There is so much we do not, cannot know. All we know is we are paying. People are dying, and lot of people are going to get rich with this war.
How cynical do I sound?
Edit: Just looked up this article from the Times of Israel, January 26 (after I wrote my comment to you). A quote from that article:

Wow. And I don't suppose those high-rises will include flats for Palestinians as reparations for destroying their old homes, or that they will be offered jobs with good pay at these new businesses.
It's just too discouraging. It sounds like a conspiracy theory, and then you read that. Very upsetting. I don't know where these people get their morals.

As I've told the downvoting scammers on Hive everything is documented so I really don't understand why they keep doing the same thing 😂
