I am reminded of the Monty Python skit about the Bird Man of Alcatraz, whom wrote the bible in the field of avian disease in the decades he was confined in that dungeon. In the skit the inimitable John Cleese portrayed the protaganist scooping dead birds off the floor of his cell and flinging them through the bars of his open window shouting 'Free! Fly free!'.

This seems a metaphor for my life.

If I don't have the authority to write my rules down and force them onto you, and you don't have the authority to write your rules down and force them onto others, and neither of us can delegate an authority we don't have, where do the cops get their authority?

Violence works. Voting is violence. It's deception, however, because the people voting aren't the people they're voting to commit the violence. That slight disconnect seems enough that most everyone fails to see that they are unlawfully seizing the authority to oppress the minority by voting with - they hope - the majority. And this despite inevitably voting for a lesser evil. There is no such thing as a lesser evil, despite how such appears to us. Evil is evil, not good. According to theology I have read, there is no evil so minor that it doesn't taint a holy soul and render it profane. The least evil taint is all that is necessary to dispel holiness.

Anyhow, democracy is basically might makes right, and this is why America is (was attempted, at least) a constitutional republic, and not a democracy, so that mere force is not authority to oppress the minority. Lysander Spooner well argued prior to the Civil War that the Constitution had failed to prevent such usurpation, and the USA does appear to be a democracy presently.

Well, people can vote on/for whatever they want, but the problem comes in when they start forcing their opinions onto others.

Anybody using force to attain their goals is a commie.

I am not a Commie, but am absolutely in agreement that violence creates power, and that sovereign people therefore must be too dangerous to oppress in order to remain sovereign. Guns aren't the best technology for that purpose today, and power no longer comes from the barrels of guns when drones take the field. Freedom requires the most productive violence technology, which is the most advanced violence technology. Drones, AI, recreational nukes, and GMO assault wasps make firearms irrelevant.

When there is no guns or tanks laser, sticks and stones will do. If not, then fists.

A real threat violent consequences may reject most oncoming violence from the average people.

Shall we have nukes at our disposal?

Or maybe get on the same page and view each other as one tribe called earthlings?

Lone wolf it out and dip into the ocean of space like Riddick?

How doomed is hue|man|it|y in ever figuring out to be ethical throughout the board?

Or when are going to coexist with the evil of this world? Common grounds?

I don't think I'll ever coexist with evil comfortably. I don't necessarily have to have nukes, if the GMO assault wasps suffice. The principle operative is to be too dangerous to violate, not to violate others. If you can't defend yourself from evil, you will be violated by it. Being helpless is tantamount to arming evil against you, and that is aiding and abetting, so I'm agin' it.
