Time is the one thing we can’t get back.
I dunno what anyone else is doing, but today I spent several hours on a roof, after trimming some trees with a chainsaw and pulling something in my back. About a half hour ago, I just couldn't take it anymore - because if I kept hurting my back I'd make things so much worse I couldn't work at all - and crawled down off the little old lady's roof. Now, I'm working for her directly, not for a company that pays me to do work for her. I'm very willing to do just about anything I can to help her, because (even though she's a Pollyanna and extremely naive regarding corruption and crime in government) she's a very kind person, and even doctored up a sword wound on my middle toe (don't ask), for which I was very grateful.
I am utterly loyal to my bosses, because they're ubiquitously good people that deserve it.
