I remember paying 13¢ a gallon.
A more feasible observation as there wasn't a shut down due to covid, there wasn't a huge sell off of our strategic reserves due to mandated sales, and we kept right on getting oil from SA despite the fact we were saturated in oil.
That was like 1960ish... I was a wee child, but remember what the sign said.
And to think, We can draw on the energy We swim in but the psychopaths hide that tech...

Oh man if only it was about just the petrol and oil. Just take a look at the grotesquely inflated property market and the spiralling costs of food. It is financial warfare by the elites on the masses, there is no two ways about it.
In 1908 this book said what we have today was inevitable.
Compared to?
Laughs we paid like R15 and then the covid and stuff happened.... Now it's like R23... Yet the oil price stabilized since then?? Wtf?
Crapitalism.
You pay more, we profit more, you die in poverty, our grandkids live in luxury.
Here is a book that explains the math in chapter 9.
So, you paid a dollar per liter, roughly?
Now it's 50% more?
Our's comes in gallons and the price has been over double the number in the picture.
It's come back down, we paid 3usd per gallon, today.
It was up over 5usd, almost 3x the price under trump.
Much more worse in my country.
I bet.
Your country was inflating the currency like crazy to keep that fella in power.
