Jelly of Shell? Not me. If you have ever worn a tie, the remarkable coincidence of the tie and a noose will not be unfamiliar to you, and executives and principals of Shell all have to wear ties daily. Is even some billions of dollars worth a life spent simulating death by hanging? I have somehow discovered that it is possible to survive without spending every waking moment simulating being hanged by the neck until dead, which state seems a bit incapable of being enjoyable to me. Frankly, I am not particularly drawn to even Bob's receipt of subsidies, because Bob must occasionally visit the offices of government agents and justify his continued receipt of subsidies, which indignity I remain unenamored of to this day, finding my absence in the offices of the officious far preferable in absentia, as I am, and intend to continue to remain.

We've had this discussion, and neither of us seems to have changed our minds. I am confident that as tech advances, industrious people will have opportunity to merit their wealth, and this is how society will end up. You differ, for reasons you have expressed to me.
I am willing to leave it at that, because I am unwilling to further enter into discussion in which we must surely end up questioning each the other's motives and veracity. I don't consider that fair game, and don't want to go there.
