I wish Ronald Reagan had been a man who walked his talk, because he sure talked good. However, during his Presidency he doubled the national debt and took the war on drugs - which is really a war on sovereignty - to a whole new level, increasing the Police Industrial Complex to an unprecedented state of dominance of society, and turning them into an arm of the Military Industrial Complex to a degree previously inconceivable. We are suffering the fruits of Reagan's militarization of police as the world becomes a censorship and surveillance police technocracy, such that I can see very shortly I will no longer have access to the internet nor official means of communication, will not be able to buy and sell at official markets, own or buy real property, have a bank account, nor much else.

I doubt I will long senesce in my dotage, but will soon succumb to the hazards and harms of living as an impoverished refugee in the land of my birth. I thank Ronald Reagan for beginning the trend that we see flourishing in America today.

Right in the heart, IIRC. Jodie Foster said she was impressed John Hinkley was so capable. Not so impressive if the CIA is providing the itinerary, though.
