I really didn't care at all about this guy. I suppose it is important to dethrone their Republican Senator in Maine.
If Fetterman turned out alright... i think then whatever. Maybe everyone should be required to wear sweatpants to Congress :)
I do like that in the comments of the article that you linked that the people defending Platner always resort to "Trump is a sex offender!" ... that attempt in the media and online to make this a go to for anything kind of worked. It's stupid because it is social media influence and people just believing anything they see because they want to, but that has stuck and is now an excuse for anything in the eyes of many.

it's just the balance of the Senate that people believe is in question. If that wasn't the case we would likely hear as much about what is going on in Maine as we normally do: nothing.
Forums everywhere have the same accusations on Trump but to be fair the same can be said about accusations of AOC, Schumer, Newsome, and other prominent politicians on the left. Sometimes the forums are far more entertaining that the articles because I think the lowest common denominator - both on the right and the left - are the people that are the most vocal in those places. They are so unbelievably brainwashed that if they are actual humans and not just bots, I really feel bad for them.
oh and the Fetterman transformation, at least in the eyes of the corrupt press has really turned and I wonder if he has intentionally orchestrated this. If so, well done dude. He went from (in the eyes of the conservative media) being near brain dead, to being "one of the only sensible Democrat Senators." He regularly appears in a friendly capacity on conservative broadcasts.
Funny how that works especially when few if any of his stances has actually changed... nor his penchant for sweat suits.
