To be fair the schools don't really have much say over what happens in those broadcasts. In the US they used to have something called Channel 1 that students would watch at the beginning of the day to cover current events and stuff like that. It was just something that got pushed through the airwaves. We had zero control of what the content was short of just shutting the TV off.

Yes, I know that our school is not really to blame. They have a curriculum to follow and must abide by the rules of the system that they are a part of.
No worries. It's a bad habit of mine. I work in the public school system, so I get a big defensive. We definitely aren't perfect, but we always seem to be a big target for criticism!
