RE: Has the US overestimated?

What if I don't agree with any of the choices? Michigan actually has some really good wines that are grown and bottled in the northern lower peninsula, but I'm not really a wine guy, so I couldn't tell you how they compare. Given the history over there I am guessing Europe kind of has a head start. It could force us to up our game. I think the leadership doesn't really care what the rest of the world thinks. Whether that is good or bad. He's dumb, but not totally dumb, so I think even if it drives the country to ruin he has some kind of plan that in his mind he thinks is a good idea. I'm not seeing it though.

You don't have to agree with any :)
I think the idea is to drive everything to ruin. I don't think it is just him. There are lots of smart people telling him what to do.
On the wine front - not all are bad from the US and some are really good. But there is better on average elsewhere. History plays a big part in that for sure.
I honestly don't think he really cares what happens. I think he has a long game that benefits him and all the chaos that happens in between now and then is just an afterthought for him.
I agree. Everything is for his own gain/ego - no one else matters.
