I'm passionate about TouchDesigner and use it to create dynamic visual compositions. My workflow typically involves sourcing royalty-free stock images and videos, then processing them through a series of interconnected nodes. I layer these elements using compositing techniques and incorporate feedback loops to generate organic, evolving visuals.
One of my favorite techniques is using POPs (Particle Operators) to generate audio-reactive particles. This creates stunning effects similar to the immersive visuals you'd see during DJ sets and live performances. However, my laptop's processing power has limitations, and these particle systems demand significant computational resources.
Recently, I attempted to create a social media reel featuring fast-paced audio-reactive visuals, but I wasn't satisfied with the final result. The performance constraints made it challenging to achieve the aesthetic I envisioned.
