Democracy Or Demo slavery

Democracy is a system of government whereby the populace possess the ability to select those who will represent them in government and they do this through election. There are different system of government that exists in the world but the one that is ran in my country is democratic system of government. In this system of government election is the only sane way that the people's representative is selected.

My nation practices the democratic system of government, to the best of my knowledge it is best in theory than practice. While in secondary school we were so taught about the forms of government and I was so thinking that that is how it really is in the world, growing up I got to understand that what is practiced is far different and it should not be in any way emulated.

The last election in my country did not witness anything like democracy. Saw a situation where some brought himself to power using his financial influence. It was so heart breaking but nothing the common man could do because those at the herm of affairs have been bought over with this same money.

This system of government have not been of help to us because some parts of the country have been marginalized, though they have done everything within their reach for a better government but it have not been possible. When the present government took over the citizens where left to suffer in many aspect because everything thing one can easy get became so expensive. In a country that the competence ones a not seen to have enough qualities to make the nation better a lot will get spoilt in our eyes.

In democratic system of government there is freedom of speech but in my nation we have received lots of warning to the point that many people are so afraid of saying things on media to avoid being arrested. Human rest is not protected as against what should be seen in the country that practices democratic system of government.

As it is now I can tell the system of government that will work well for my nation. What I seek for is reformation,things have to be reviewed and set straight to be able to accommodate everyone and parts of the nation without any form of marginalization. Ruling should not be left to just a selected region, there should be this balance but that is not done and the agrevied parties are not allowed to air their view at all.

The crown it all we are directly into slavery because the government without minding what the citizens have to say keeps borrowing money. I said directly because if not for divine intervention even our children will not be able to pay the dept that have been accumulated by these set of people. Why they keep doing this is what I can't fathom actually and how they buried their conscience is beyond my reach. Many citizens have so complained about this in this democratic system but nothing seems to be done about it.

On my part I am so optimistic that something positive will happen, but when it will happen is what I don't actually know about. Please do keep praying for our dear country and don't fail to do your part in your little corner as we patiently await this change. Thank you for reading
