RE: Two things can be true

The story is always, "The US has no business policing the world," but also, "this time it's different, and we need to DO SOMETHING!" But before the recent attack, polls were suggesting 70-80% of Americans opposed intervening, and negotiations were apparently progressing, yet Netanyahu and Trump attacked anyway. Nothing about this warranted emergency airstrikes now.
