Why do people dislike Politicians?

I have watched a lot of terrorism movies and TV shows based on government, terrorism and politics and one thing that's always strongely portrayed is that government is corrupt. This isn't particularly about just one government institution, it's about every government institution, agencies or bodies out there, with some other countries worse than the others.

From the US, UK, south American or European government, there are lots of government corruption always portrayed against them, and so I decided to look at the realistic state of things and weather this was actually true, and honestly these claims are 100% true.

The most shocking is that these theories in movies aren't even always deep enough to potray the corruption enough because a lot of the evil perpetrated by government bodies all over the world is not even talked about enough and are always concealed, buried and convered beneath.

There was a case of a naked woman who died in the house of a politician in the Nigeria. The woman was obviously naked in the released picture was probably killed, and instead of the politician to get arrested, they cooked up a story that they sold to the media that made the politician walk free.

No prosecution, no arrest and nothing, they shut down the family of the deceased and made sure they never said anything to the public. It's crazy because a lot of patterns and issues are happening with government bodies all over the world and honestly they're mostly covered and deflated to appear publicly different.

The lies & Conspiracy

So basically government bodies lies a lot, and most times, these tendencies are what makes people actually lose faith or trust in them. Obviously doesn't change the fact that they still get elected and people show up for elections.

In some African country people show enough apathy that they don't show up during elections because they don't trust politicians, and because of this, politicians can inflate voters numbers and use this to rig themselves into power.

Hatred for government agencies and government in general is simply because there are really no people to check them. I think the countries where they have complete democratic systems (like in most first world countries) are the ones who are actually better.

The reason is they cannot exactly act without fear of consequences because there are democratic settings in place to pluck them out of the skies, but these bodies still have systems in place that lets them do covert operations, commit international crimes at scale, and other evil at a maximum level, which never makes it to the public.

For example, the Nigerian president has a case of drugs with the US FBI but because he's the president of a sovereign nation, they're probably refusing to release this evidence of the crimes of the president.

The truth that never gets out

They probably have a lot of redacted files of the man, and the evil he's done so far, but they're refusing to make this information to the public, even though they know they releasing it could remove him from power and help the Nigerian people to install a new functional government.

However they must've come to a sort of agreement with the man, that lets him walk free even though he's probably one of the biggest drug peddlers ever.

I mean, they busted the president of Colombia, and you must be wondering why they're protecting the president of Nigeria, but it's probably one of their biggest ever schemes and these schemes and informations are always kept from the public. It's basically for their own interests.

A lot of times, these schemes and top secrets are basically to protect their own interests, and some countries are worse than the other. I have seen a few movies about these type of schemes, apparently the US have a lot of these too secret schemes too. They're probably not the saints we see them to potray in a lot of movies.

Often times, it's not like the movies where there is some evil purpose. It's more likely that they break the law in a good-hearted attempt to do their job. Or, it's just ordinary theft. It's often stupid reasons.

Anybody in government should be aware that there's always a record of what they are doing. There's always a paper trail. The fact that they get away with crime for so long is mostly due to nobody suspecting and then investigating. It's usually during audits that people get caught. And even then, audits only sample records, so it may be a few audits before they uncover the problem.

Hmmm, it is government corruption that is the problem in our nation. The Nigeria's economic problem is a function of the corruption which is inherent in the government officials.

Like my grandpa told me that in life in order to keep my moral compass I should avoid lying and being a politician. I guess the two are quite the same...
