A good man gone too soon
I was devastated to hear of the death of the journalist and political activist Patrick O’Flynn. I’d been reading his social media posts for a long long while and I have quoted him extensively on here.
Mr O’Flynn struck me as one of the most reasonable and cultured of the political activists who I have encountered online. He was thoughtful, kind and knowledgable and whatever he wrote was meaningful and well considered. On the odd occasion that Mr O’Flynn liked or reposted something I had written on social media, it felt like an achievement. If what I had written was well received by someone I admired as much as Mr O’Flynn, then it felt like I had done something very right.
Britain, in its current dire and damaged state, needs people like Patrick O’Flynn to help create the better future that this country requires. His passing is a tragedy not just for his family but for anyone who is interested or concerned about politics and the future of the United Kingdom.
May Patrick O’Flynn’s memory be for a blessing. יהי זכרו לברכה
