A new podcast from a familiar commentator.

Many readers of this blog will be familiar with my praise for Mr Dan Salt’s political writings. Mr Salt seems to do a damned good job of diagnosing what ails Britain and listing the litany of failures of Britain’s political classes who have brought the nation to the dire state that it is today.

Mr Salt’s blog called ‘Politically Homeless’ is one of my go to blogs these days. If I want to read analysis from someone who is coming from a social democratic background who can see where and how things have gone wrong, then I’ll choose to read Mr Salt’s blog. Some of Mr Salt’s writings are by their nature extremely pessimistic about the state of the nation. However I have to admit that it’s difficult to be anything but pessimistic in a country with so many, often self induced, problems as Britain has.

As well as his writings at the Politically Homeless blog, Mr Salt has now started a podcast and I watched one of his early videos on the subject of what he describes as the ‘ridiculous’ Labour leadership issues at a time when the entire economy is on the brink of collapse. It’s well worth a listen. I make this post as those who read this blog may be aware of Mr Salt’s writings but not so much his very new podcast and I’d like to give it such publicity as I am able to.
