Look at this massive steaming odorous pile of Ed Miliband

We in Britain are getting very used to dishonest claims made by Energy Secretary Ed Miliband. We’ve heard them for years and we all pay the price of Miliband’s dishonesty over stuff like the efficacy and affordability of renewable energy. Whenever Miliband opens his mouth on the subject of energy we can be almost guaranteed that what will come out will have little connection to reality.

Now he’s decided that what the British public need is even more bullshit but this time on the subject of whether or not Jews are safe in some of Britain’s Islamic enclaves. In a spectacularly divorced from reality interview with Trevor Phillips on Sky News Miliband claimed that places like Aston in the English midlands are not places that are unsafe for Jews.

I challenge the veracity of Miliband’s claim. Anywhere where there is 55% Asian and where 38% of that 55% were Pakistani heritage Moslems is not anything like the sort of area that anyone sensible would say would be a safe place for Jews. Islam, including some quite worrying sorts of Islam is quite dominant in this area and knowing the hostility that these worrying sorts of Islam have for Jews then I have to say that it’s not the sort of place where I would be wanting to be wearing a Kippah on my head in public.

It’s interesting to note that in the interview Miliband had to fall back on empty slogans such as lauding ‘diversity’ and ‘tolerance’ along with a bit of a nonsense about ‘Islamophobia’. He denied that Aston was now a no go area for Jews but a brief look at the demographics of that area might undermine Miliband’s claim. After all if an area is dominiated by those who may have imbibed Jew hatred with their mother’s milk then it’s hardly likely to be some sort of Jew safe utopia is it?

Maybe Ed Miliband should put his money where his mouth is and spend some time in places like Aston or Tower Hamlets or Newham or any of the other places in Britain that have become defacto Islamic ghettos. In addition he should take that holiday to some of these areas without any government supplied security and wearing, as befits his Jewish heritage, a nice blue and white kippah on his head every day he’s there. Maybe if he did that he might not be too quick to pronouce that areas that any sensible Jew would be wary about as safe for British Jews?

So not only is Miliband happy to tell us a whole truckload of porkie pies about Britain’s energy supplies he’s also happy to be less than completely frank about the security situation in some of Britain’s more Islamically enriched areas? If you hated Miliband for the damage he and his pals have done to Britain’s energy security then you can hate him even more for his failure to be honest about some of the problems in places like Britain’s midlands.
