Posh leftist has unwelcome encounter with reality.

The issue of the UK government housing dinghy invaders in hotels across the country is starting to get more and more heated. Protests against the imposition of potentially dangerous dinghy invaders are spreading especially in hitherto peaceful towns whose residents have had their worlds turned upside down by the activities of the dinghy invaders. This is something that I’m not at all surprised about bearing in mind the increasing amount of anti-social behaviour and crime, including lots of sex crime, being committed by the dinghy invaders who have been housed at taxpayers expense in hotels.

The latest clash between ordinary Britons and those who protect and make excuses for the dinghy invaders came from outside the Britannia Hotel near Canary Wharf which since the late 1980’s has been London’s other big financial district outside of the City of London. According to various reports that I’ve seen, after local people in Epping in Essex to the North East of London had a stunning victory in getting the government to remove potentially dangerous dinghy invaders from the Bell Hotel in Epping, these invaders were then allegedly moved by the government to somewhere out of the Epping area. However where they’ve been moved to seems to be the hotel in Canary Wharf. This hotel, where rooms cost about £450 per night has in turn become the focus of protests from those Britons who are now fed up to the back teeth of the imposition on them by the government of these potentially and sometimes actually dangerous invaders.

Anti-invader demonstrators turned up at the hotel on Canary Wharf yesterday and as expected they were counter protested by Leftists and Greens. One Green party councillor, Nathalie Bienfait from the local council,Tower Hamlets, turned up to spout nonsense about how these invaders had ‘no other choice’ but to come to Britain illegally and that they were driven to do so by the ‘climate crisis’ and got some of the worst pushback to her bollocks than she’s probably ever had in her political career. The citizen journalist Jack Hadfield was present at the Canary Wharf demonstration against the dinghy invaders and caught Ms Beinfait suddenly finding, maybe for the first time in her life, that the public is not buying her bullshit about ‘climate refugees’ and suchlike. She found that the soothing words of nonsense that might have worked in a council’s HR department or in a lefty captured university or a socialist meeting, ain’t working on ordinary Britons. Her spiel about ‘refugees’ was met with an angry cry of ‘fuck off you cunt’ from a man on the anti-invader demonstration. Ms Bienfait and the small number of counter-protesters were later escorted away from the area of the hotel by police which she claims was for ‘her own safety’. Here’s Mr Hadfield’s video.

This was a classic ‘Ceausescu moment’ for Ms Beinfait. The expression on her face when she realised that the bullshit about ‘refugees’ that she’d been taught and which she had promulgated reminded me so much of that day on the 21st December 1989 when Romania’s Communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu realised that his power was gone and the crowds hated him. The change in expression on Ceausescu’s face from self confidence to fear and incomprehension was mirrored in the face of Ms Beinfait. Now of course I would never ever wish on Ms Beinfait the brutal end that Nicolae Ceausescu and his wife Elena met after Romania’s Communist Party’s fall from power, but politicians like Ms Beinfait do need to understand the terrible consequences for innocent Britons of the policies that people like her have supported and promulgated. It’s not her or her family who have been forced for years by the State to tolerate the often intolerable crimes committed by the dinghy invaders, she’s probably been, by way of class, income and ideology, been insulated from such problems all her life. It’s this insulating from the consequences of the policies that she and those like her have imposed on Britain that may have given her the arrogance to think that she could stand in front of those upset by the dinghy invaders and defend such invaders and that the protestors, many of whom are mortally frightened about the safety of their children, would melt way at her ‘wise words’.

The audience for her virtue signalling spiel didn’t melt away as she might have thought they would when she spoke, they pushed back and told her some home truths. She wasn’t harmed in any way but she was chastened and chastised by an audience that she thought she would be able to control.

In a way I feel slightly sorry for her as she’s had to confront reality in a very powerful and public way. Apparently this young woman went from private school to a university in the Netherlands where she studied ‘sustainability’ before becoming a Green councillor. She’s more than likely been fed bullshit all her life to such an extent she’s internalised that bullshit. She’s possibly been fed bullshit at school, at university and by the political crowd that she has attached herself to and now she’s finding out that not everyone is inclined to believe the nonsense that she’s been fed and which she has regurgitated.

Many of us have been where she has been and have, when younger, believed stuff that we’ve later found out is either untrue or is destructive or just plain wrong. I remember distinctly occasions when I was very young where my less than fully formed beliefs in things like disarmament, or welfare or culture got challenged by those with much more life experience than I had at the time. These were not nice experiences, some of them were highly embarrassing, but I learned from them. Maybe Ms Beinfait will also, eventually, learn that not all nice sounding ideas are good ones. She’s had a very public pushback, something that didn’t happen to me in the same way, and I suspect that she’s going to go somewhat viral because of the naive bullshit that came out of her mouth and how it was countered by members of the anti-invader crowd.
