Zarah Sultana MP leaves Labour to spend more time with the fraggles
Zarah Sultana, the MP for Coventry South who has up till now been sitting as an independent after being suspended by Labour, has announced that she has resigned from the Labour Party. She stated in her public letter of resignation that she is going to join and co-lead a new party with Jeremy Corbyn.
Her resignation letter is a masterclass in the sort of student union socialism that truly earns the description of ‘boilerplate’. It’s got everything. There’s the whines from her about ‘billionaires’, whines about the polls being led by a ‘grifter’ which I take to be a reference to Nigel Farage, shroud waving about poverty and a stab of performative outrage at the PM’s use of the term ‘island of strangers’ in a recent speech on migration. There was also, as has become almost obligatory for this type of politician, the smear on Israel that it is committing a ‘genocide’ and her support for the Hamas-loving Pally-wanker crown who she referred to as ‘people of conscience.’ The whole letter, in all its gruesome ‘glory’ can be found at the Guido Fawkes site but here’s a few samples of Ms Sultan’s resignation rant.
Westminster is broken but the real crisis is deeper. Just 50 families now own more wealth than half the UK population. Poverty is growing, inequality is obscene and the two-party system offers nothing but managed decline and broken promises.
She’s right that there’s a crisis but much of this crisis is the result of the socialism and socialism light policies that she along with politicians like her promote. Note well the steaming envy about people who’ve done well for themselves and their descendants by her ‘50 families’ comment. I agree that poverty is growing but a sluggish over-regulated, over-taxed economy, a dysfunctional welfare system, open borders and the cult of managerialism bequeathed to us by the Blair / Brown administrations, has played a big part in creating and sustaining that poverty.
Here’s her dig at other politicians along with a little bit of ‘genocide’ blood libel against Israel thrown in for good measure.
Meanwhile, a billionaire-backed grifter is leading the polls, because Labour has completely failed to improve people’s lives. And across the political establishment, from Farage to Starmer, they smear people of conscience trying to stop a genocide in Gaza as terrorists.
But the truth is clear: this government is an active participant in genocide. And the British people oppose it
Yep, more of the politics of envy from Ms Sultana and of course the smear of ‘genocide’ against a nation that suffered a monstrous genocidal attack on it and its people by jihadist savages on October 7th 2023.
We’re not an island of strangers; we’re an island that’s suffering. We need homes and lives we can actually afford, not rip-off bills we pay every month to a tiny elite bathing in cash. We need our money spent on public services, not forever wars.
Yawn! Same old same old student union socialist bollocks. It’s all squeeze the rich and not look that closely at any of the systemic problems that Britain has.
I’m no fan of the Labour Party, to put it mildly, but Labour have got the better deal with Ms Sultana’s departure. Ms Sultana can now spend her time in a party which will probably have even more Jew haters in it than Labour has.
The Labour Party is better off without her and with any luck her and Crazy Corbyn’s new party, which I suppose could be called ‘Jeremy’s Jew Hate And Jihad Party (Marxist-Leninist)’ will hoover up other deeply unpleasant nutcases from Labour and maybe other parties. It’s the sort of party that I can see would welcome Labour Party figures like Richard ‘Benny From Crossroads’ Burgon as it is will probably be the sort of political outfit where he can rant about ‘Zionists’ to his hearts content to an appreciative audience of Stalinists, Muslims with a Mein Kampf fetish and those who are also either covert or overt members of the Socialist Wankers Party. I suspect this party will be a entity that attracts the ‘lets fellate Hamas’ lot in spades and it’s quite possible that the current ‘Jihad Alliance’ or Gaza Independents as they like to be called who currently sit in our House of Commons, might end up joining up with it.

Breaking news postscript:
There might be trouble in Corbyn and Sultana’s socialist paradise. There’s posts appearing on the X platform that suggest that Sultana has gone off a bit early with her announcement about the new party and its structure.
A poster called Gabrial Pogrund who is the Sunday Times’s Whitehall editor is claiming that he has heard that Corbyn is furious about the announcement by Sultana without ‘consultation’. Here’s a screenshot of the Tweet in question:
