Crypto, Corruption, and the Trump Connection: A Toxic Alliance?

I mean obvs I love my crypto, but I've got more of a love-hate relationship with Trump administration's relationship with it.

My love of it is very crude: A US government that's pro-crypto should be good for prices. My hate of it stems from the obvious potential corruption within the administration.

There are many close to Trump who are pro-crypto, but often times this may mean them just being pro-whatever-shit-coin-they-hold-or-mint-themselves. And I'm not convinced any crypto policy is going to be good for innovation or the consumer, more likely policy will be determined by what is best for political patrons of those closest to power.

There does appear to be something of a reluctance to regulate in the US, I mean look at Trump coin, and then one for this wife, and now Walmart and Amazon are launching their own stable coin, and Bezos I know is a Trump fan boy....

I'm very suspicious of that cardre at the top and what it means for crypto going forwards.... there may be some regulation coming but I'm really not sure it's going to be neutral... it will take a form more likely that will benefit the elites that support Trump.

I mean crypto is basically a money printing hedge against borrowing more, after all, that can work very nicely if you're on the right side of it.

Then again maybe this is as good as it gets for crypto, what with regulation over in Europe threatening to throttle crypto altogether.
