RE: Why there are so many old people in politics?

That bit about leaders still hanging on after 80 really stuck with me. In my world we trust numbers not vibes, so a simple rule like fixed term limits plus periodic health and cognition checks feels fair to everyone. If factories need fitness standards, then the top job should have transparent metrics too, otherwise the real decisions drift to unelected aides and polticians become mascots :(
Give the experienced ones advisory roles with pay and respect, but keep executive seats fresh so we dont end up with leaders snoozing through budgets, their just there for the chair :)
