Capitalism doesn't force you to work. That's the nature of existence.

Extreme poverty has plummeted from roughly 80–95% of the global population in 1800 to less than 10% today. If Capitalism were the cause of suffering to survive, then we would expect people to be so much worse off today than before when there was far less capitalism. Instead, we see global abundance as the world moved toward greater respect of property rights and free trade.
