The state has the ultimate power.

In reality, it's the government that has the ultimate power. Time and again they have used that power to control even the biggest companies, from railroad company seizures in the early 1900s, to factory seizures during World War 2 and the Korean War, to the government going after and shutting down major crypto-currency corporations with fines, delistings, and arrests of developers. You should look at what the government has done under 35 USC 181 to really see how deep it goes.
