Depends on your perspective. Considering the Many Worlds hypothesis, the Principle of Least Action, and the No Hiding theorem, folks that incur moral and ethical debts and burdens that will endure perpetually in multiple universes/dimensions aren't elite in any form that endures. They have money and power as meatsicles for a few decades, but will suffer deregration, despite, and disrepute in perpetuity thereafter.
