Larken Rose is good at striking straight to the cognitive dissonance. I like that about him.

Thanks!

Now if he could just pull his head out of his crapitalism, maybe we could make some progress as a society.

I note that trees are capitalists, investing in leaves in the Spring to harvest Summer sunshine. Wolves invest in packs with teeth to harvest herbivores. Capitalism isn't the problem. It is how we invest what capital that is.

Crapitalism starves people outside overflowing warehouses, that is an issue.

That's not capitalism. That's incompetent governance. You cannot starve my kids to death because they were edumacated to know how to sustain themselves. Most people today are educated in public schools, by government IOW, and if they can be starved to death, they were so poorly educated they are incapable of living.

Yep. Should be done regularly. Deer shed their antlers yearly. Just dropped 'em hereabouts. Who was it railed that the only reason a standing army was a problem in the USA is because we had a standing government? Oh, yeah, it was Thoreau. I agree with him. We should elect temporary governments when crises require some collective response, like a hurricane in the Appalachians, and the rest of the time those elected and appointed to serve government posts can have real jobs doing actual work.

As long as it's all voluntary, from the paying for it to the receiving of it, I'd be good with that.
