Trump views are interesting on the future of the auto industry and his concern on China's dominance in electric vehicles. Of course, China is extremely aggressive when it comes to pushing in this field and their ability to produce affordable and futuristic cars. But i think focusing on gasoline alone is not the best for long term, while US does have a lot of oil resources.
The global trend is moving into clean energy and sustainability. If US wants to stay competitive, they should focus both Gasoline and electric vehicles. A balanced approach will be best.
The old ways does not work anymore adapting to change is the way to go. what do you think?

I think you're absolutely right and infact I wish you'd speak to him that is if he'll listen 😂😂😂 but yes brother focusing only on Gasoline won't work because eventually the world will move on to electric. The US has to get good at electric while dominating gasoline so that when the time comes they can dominate both
The US has Elon Musk I think they can do this easily but not sure the political side would want that. But anyway he won't talk to me lol I'm just an expat in the UAE work in a restaurant lol 😂

I respect your job brother 💯 Yes they do have Musk but the point Trump raised was that China has all the materials to dominate electric cars and US would need those materials so how will they even be able to compete and keep up with China if China is the one making the materials they need for the electric cars
You got a point there. But I don't know whenever I see they said US is failing US always bounce back for some magical reason lol that is why I never really believe it US will be fine they are the super power of this current world.
