Another Brilliant Socialist Success Story 🤦‍♂️
So, Kansas City tried the genius idea of funding a grocery store to “fix” food deserts.
🤔 Nah, that can’t be true, right? Because Zohran Mamdani, a proud democratic socialist, is still running around pitching the same fantasy.
🏬 Enter Sun Fresh Market—a taxpayer-funded, city-backed project at 31st & Prospect.
đź“… The plan? Provide fresh food to the community.
🚪 The outcome? Closed in August 2025.
👏 Yup. Another “progressive experiment” where government throws money at a problem, pats itself on the back, and then acts shocked when it collapses.
đźš” Meanwhile, the same crowd swears:
“Defund the police works!”
“Crime is going down!”
“Socialism saves neighborhoods!”
All while the grocery store shutters 🛑, crime spikes 🔫, and taxpayers eat the bill 💸 (but not fresh
produce, because…well, the store’s dead 🪦).
🎉 Moral of the story: These programs don’t fail… they just “end early” with no explanation. And we’re supposed to clap like seals 🦠and say thank you.
👑 Because at the end of the day, you’re just the peasant 🧑‍🌾—while the politicians are the only ones who know better.
RIGHT 🤷‍♂️
