I Don’t Care” and “I Don’t Believe” — The Trap That Makes You Easy to Deceive
I don’t care,”
“I don’t believe” —
Two little lies
That make you naive.
Don’t care ‘bout politics? That’s cute,
Till rules get passed that strip your loot.
Taxes rise and freedoms fall,
And you won’t notice — not at all.
Don’t believe in good or bad?
That’s how evil makes you mad.
Sickness, chaos, fear and pain —
But you just shrug and take the blame.
Don’t care ‘bout God? That’s your right.
Free will lets you walk from light.
But just because you turn away,
Don’t mean the truth won’t make you pay.
Don’t believe the devil’s real?
That’s his favorite kind of deal.
While you’re busy mocking fate,
He’s working hard to twist your state.
Don’t care ‘bout where your life will go?
Then others shape the path you know.
A puppet pulled by hidden strings,
Used and tossed by selfish kings.
These words seem strong, like you’re in charge,
But really, they just leave you starved.
You think you’re free, bold, and awake—
But you’re asleep. And that’s the stake.
So watch those words, and think them through—
They just might be controlling you.
Because like the old saying goes:
“If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.”
And if you don’t believe in something greater than yourself…
You’ll crumble when the weight of the world comes down.
