So now a YouTuber is doing the job real reporters used to do.

During Christmas week, Nick Shirley drops a 42-minute investigation into alleged massive fraud in Minnesota’s government funded child care programs walking into places getting millions that look about as active as a Blockbuster in 2025.

No newsroom.

No press badge.

No corporate leash. 🎥

So what happened to journalism?
Why does every story need a green light from advertisers, donors, or approved narratives before it’s allowed to exist? 🤔

Ironically YouTubers are now doing what newspapers once bragged about: 👉 show up, ask questions, follow the money. 💸

Congrats, legacy media.
You got replaced by a guy with a camera and Wi-Fi. 📡😬
