I think we can now conclude that their political alignment has never been about principles or morals. It's always been about the bottom line. How can they maximize their profits, and pay the least amount of taxes.
When I saw Jeff cozying up to Trump, I wasn't surprised. As a matter of fact, I wondered why It didn't happen sooner. This chaos we are seeing is not ideological either. The billionaire class if it begins fighting Trump, it won't do it because they believe Trump is bad for America. They will do it, because they are being personally affected.
So, I don't feel bad for the infighting. As a matter of fact, it brought a smile to my face. Which is why I felt like being silly and writing this joke.
The billionaires are living in (or on) another world with their vanity space projects. They seem to feel that they have to bend the knee to tRump to avoid his impetuous wrath, but maybe there will be some fight-back as he hits their profits.
I think the US is in for turmoil as the full impact of tariffs has yet to bite. Expect more to be rolled back as tRump folds quicker than a cheap suit (as I've heard others describe it).
