When I saw a video about this I thought for a second it was fake. I mean, it can't be. We know he's been talking crazy, but it seems that he's actually serious about this.

Aside from the fact that this can only described as an act of war by itself, if the US was actually pretending to annex Canada as the 51st state, such thing would not happen with someone just signing off on a piece of paper.
Total insanity, one that is quite frankly exhausting to deal with. This here can only be described as a mafia move, and the people in MAGA land are celebrating it. Finally, we get to really hurt the country who's been our ally for such a long time?

The Canadians showing up on the comments are quite ready to fight, because they recognize they are being threatened with violence and in a not so disguised way.
You know this time is different, I have to admit. The first time around he must have had people holding tight to his leash, making sure that his bluffing would not go as too far, would not cause international conflicts.
These days however, it seems like he's just performing in his stupid show the apprentice, and his actions are laser focused on getting ratings, getting reactions, screw the consequences.
Of course he trolling. It shows Trudeau as a weenie. Trump will change his rhetoric once Poilievre is PM to make it look like Poilievre is a strong leader.

I love Canada. Sad about their totalitarian Communist government, but they're generally people I have enjoyed interacting with since my early youth in Alaska. Here's a pic of a guy with a shirt proclaiming how they love and admire Canada.

The man who, in a very short space of time, has transformed a democracy (with a few bruises) into an autocracy with the backing of the oligarchs, is not a man who is in the habit of jokes. Or are the sackings over the weekend of public prosecutors who may not dance to his tunes just a bit of fun?
